Sigma Homes appointed Odyssey to provide the detailed drainage and highways designs for this 13-home scheme on the Court Meadow School site. The site access was provided under a Section 278 agreement.

Drainage was the main challenge. Infiltration did not meet current design standards, even though the previous use of the site had relied on it, and there were no surface water sewers in the area. The foul water drainage was on third-party land, and needed extensive investigation to confirm its location and suitability.

With careful design, Odyssey provided new surface and foul water sewers to serve the site, which is now well under construction.
