Odyssey has supported Crest Nicholson since 2016 on this 1,100-home site, which includes a country park with a visitor centre, a local centre, a school and open spaces.
We prepared the site-wide drainage strategies and led negotiations with the Lead Local Flood Authority to resolve comments on the approved Flood Risk Assessment. We designed the two signalised accesses, provided planning support on all works completed to date, and carried out the detailed design of the highways and drainage infrastructure, the country park and the visitor centre.
Our transport planning and drainage support secured an additional planning permission for the vehicular and pedestrian bridges over the adjacent railway line. We also negotiated with the highway authority on the off-site Section 278 cycle improvements required by the outline planning permission.
We are currently supporting reserved matters applications for two residential parcels, and a significant infrastructure package that includes highways, drainage, SuDS and a foul water pumping station.
