Horsham Fire Station

Odyssey provided transport planning and highway design services to Willmott Dixon, from the planning application through to technical approval and construction of the highway works for the new fire station next to the A24.

The site access includes emergency warning ‘wig-wag’ signals and a direct access onto the A24 slip road for emergency vehicles.

We worked with the highway authority, West Sussex County Council, to secure technical approval for a design that gives emergency vehicles quick and safe egress.
