Odyssey was appointed on behalf of 3rd Light Ltd to prepare a Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy for a planning application for replacement commercial buildings.

The site had several constraints. It lies within the fluvial floodplain, and the existing drainage system serving the wider commercial site was in poor condition.

We coordinated the drainage survey, set out the fluvial mitigation measures and designed a SuDS strategy, which secured approval from West Berkshire Council as Lead Local Flood Authority.
