Westvale Park, the Horley North West Sector, is a mixed-use development of about 1,510 homes with a neighbourhood centre, a primary school, recreation and open space, and access roads linking it to the A23 and A217.
A consortium of Crest Nicholson, Persimmon Homes, Taylor Wimpey and A2Dominion first instructed Odyssey to provide engineering support for the reserved matters application for the first residential phase. Our scope was then extended to the planning and detailed design of the strategic infrastructure.
We worked closely with the contractor to take that infrastructure through to construction on site.
Odyssey was initially instructed by the Consortium to undertake Reserved Matters engineering support on Horley North West Sector – Phase 1 Residential. Due to their professional, pro-active and responsive approach, their scope was expanded to cover the wider Strategic Infrastructure planning and detailed design. Their quality advice, willingness to help and problem solving attitude has been recognised across the design team, including the Contractor who Odyssey worked closely with to successfully deliver their scope through to construction onsite.
