Construction traffic management plans

Planning authorities often ask for a Construction Traffic Management Plan or Construction Environmental Management Plan, either with an outline application or as a planning condition. Odyssey prepares both.

At outline stage we prepare an outline or framework plan. At reserved matters stage, or once a contractor has been appointed, we set out the detailed strategy for the demolition and construction phases, covering:

• the number of construction vehicle movements each day
• swept path analysis of construction vehicles
• the impacts of construction traffic and any mitigation needed
• how the work will comply with the relevant environmental management policies and standards
