Lead Local Flood Authority support

Odyssey acts on behalf of local authorities in their role as Lead Local Flood Authority, including the secondment of our staff to a council’s flood risk team.

We support authorities with the flood risk and drainage side of their planning casework. Our experience is that this often lets an authority work through its casework more quickly, while committing to outside support only on a month-by-month basis.

Because we also prepare flood risk and drainage submissions for developers, we bring a practical understanding of the development process to the authority’s side of the table.
